Silk
Silk is a display typeface with high contrast and unique flourishing. I was inspired by different calligraphy hands, like gothic italic and carolingians. You are seeing the uppercase of the Silk family.
Silk will include upper and lower case with alternatives and ligatures in the near future.

Process
This project started as a lettering experiment, and I wanted to show the width change when you write with a broad nib pen and by doing so to give the typeface a hand writing quality.
